The sun beat down on me as I looked at the face of my former friend.
"So the hero has come to die! I expected more of you. Luke thought so highly of you. He was wrong! You're a spineless weasel! Take him to mount Tam!" Kronos spat. I allowed myself to be pulled away. I was already getting my revenge. Three… two... one. KABOOM! The explosion shook the entire mountain causing me and the guards to be blown sky high. I looked back smiling as I saw the crumbling remains of the mountain before I was hit over the head causing me to go into the arms of Morpheus.
Three months have passed since I blew up Kronos. As punishment I have been cursed with the sky. Every day my muscles scream for me to drop the sky and rest. But I can't. All the people I have ever cared for are counting on me. I learnt that they're still alive a month ago. I wish I could just let the sky go but I can't. I never can.
It's been three years and I am just about ready to break. It's unfair that I have to do this as I am only nineteen! Why have the gods let this happen? I saved their buts! Suddenly I was enveloped in blackness.
I wake up on a reasonably comfy bed. I suddenly see the face of my friend Thalia above me. As soon as she saw I was awake she brought me into bone braking hug.
"Oh my gods! We thought you were dead! Where were you?" she said in one breath. I pondered how to answer her question when Artemis walked into the room shining brightly.
"Ah you have awoken." She exclaimed.
"Where are we?" I asked dumbly.
"We are in a forest near mount Tam." She answered. "Now Thalia you may fill him in." and she left without another word. I turned to Thalia and she started telling me about how camp was in danger.
"Gods we have to get there to save them!" I exclaimed shooting up and out the tent.
"Yes but it would take us forever to get there even on Pegasus." Thalia called out as she came out the tent.
"Ah but I have a friend. MRS. O'LEARY!" I yelled. Out of the shadows came my pet hellhound in all her glory. I climbed on her and pulled Thalia on. "Hold on tight!" I yelled at her making Mrs. O'Leary run at the tree.
We came out in the arena during a lesson. They all screamed as they thought Mrs. O'Leary was going to eat them. I sprang of the back.
"Stop!" I whispered but strangely they all stopped. "She isn't going to eat you! She doesn't eat humans. So stop screaming."
"Where's Chiron?" Thalia asked the shaking crowd.
