After reading the Harry Potter books it seems to me that the Burrow is more than just a building this piece I hope shows that. I do not own any of the Potter Universe (I just like to play in it every now and again) all credit goes to JK Rowling the one and only. Thank you.
There is a track that all the children from the house nearby have run down at some point in their lives whether excited or sad, hurt or scared. Now those children may have grown up and had children of their own but one thing remains the same, they all still run down that track. There is nothing special about it, it does not have some rare plant growing alongside it, Gilderoy Lockhart does not live nearby. No. It is not the track itself that is important it is the destination it leads to.
There is a door that children used to run to when called, teenagers have slammed shut when angry and adults have emerged from. Again like with the track there is nothing special about this door. Over the years the paint has faded and the hinges have rusted slightly but this does not matter. The door itself is just that, a door, it does not have any magical properties nor does it lead into another world for the one it is in is magical enough. No. It is not the door that is important it is the destination it leads to.
The house the track leads to does not look like anything special. It is not grand like Malfoy Manor or neat and ordered like Privet Drive it however has something more special than both of these places. Through that rickety old door one thing is found in abundance. Love. The family that live in the house may not have wealth or status but each member has the support, caring and love of the others. When given the choice most would choose the Burrow over anywhere else any day.
Thank you for reading don't forget to review now.
