The Beginning:
The forest seemed almost animated in the faint light of dawn. The tree's branches swayed as if to dance and praise a higher power for the coming day. The tall, proud pine trees swayed in the early morning breeze, their needles wet with the morning dew seemed to sparkle like precious jewels when the sun's rays shone on them. As for their neighbors, the mighty oaks, they did not sway in the breeze; instead, they seemed to bow to the oncoming day. This seemingly wakeful silence was abruptly shattered by a loud snap. "Ouch!" cried the intruder of the silence. A figure stumbled into the clearing, cursing and mumbling. The figure was that of a woman. Something was drastically different, she had cat like ears, and fangs. Her nails were pointed at the ends, and she had stripe markings on the side of her face. Her eyes were the only truly human thing about her. In their depths they held the emotions of remorse, anger, hate and loneliness. She was an outcast. It seemed that she was of some breed that was half human and half Youkai.
To any other demon she was an abomination to the Youkai breed.At the same time she is shunned by humans. An outcast in both worlds, she wanders through the forests in search of another like her. Little did she know that she would ….
