The Burrow, England (2002, 4 years post-war)

Hermione Granger, now at the ripe age of twenty-one, stood outside her second home. The burrow stood, if just only, in front of her; the tall mosh-posh building seemed to almost be mocking her. A taunting, it seemed, that the brains of the golden-trio would finally have to buck up her courage and face head on.

Frozen, in an almost paralytic state, only being able to breath in the scent of the nearby orchard, which she had spent sever summers enjoying as she whizzed through a portion of her may books. The citrus from the many fruits filled her nostrils and calmed her...somewhat. She wanted to see her friends and people she has come to call family. Yet she knew as soon as she stepped over the threshold Molly Weasley would bombard her with various questions on her love life. As much as Hermione loved the older witch dearly, she could certainly live without the witch's meddling; it was likely to drive her up the wall!

"Why aren't you busy on saturday evening, dear? You're a young, single witch, you're still in your prime! Go on, get out there!"

"Why didn't you owl him back? He sounded nice…" Why, Why, Why? Is all that woman had in her! She almost seemed desperate to see Hermione walk down the aisle, produce children, and stay at home and play housewife.

Sighing, she walked towards the small but quaint house, excited to see everyone, yet dreading the moment all in one.

Taking in a deep breath, once more, Hermione swung open the Burrow door and walked straight into the Dragon's lair, waiting for it all to begin.
