Life
- this was her life now-
Blackest night.
The moon shone down, peering through the grey clouds. Her red hair, loosened from its constraints, fluttered in the wind, and she sighed softly, chest expanded slowly. The waves lapped up onto the shore, and she longed to stretch out and touch them, to feel water on her bruised skin, to feel the coolness and the calm the tide brought.
She shuddered softly as the moon disappeared behind the clouds, her face turning white. She bowed her head, red hair slipping over her face as she bent down, staring through the gaps in the fencing.
Captive.
How long had she been here? She didn't know. Days had turned into weeks, weeks had turned into months, and months had turned into years. Her life was an ever-revolving cycle of sleeping and eating.
Sure, she talked to people, conversed rather nicely with them usually, but that was only when He let her. Only people He chose could she talk to.
It was like He was God, and she was just one of his disciples, forced to do his bidding.
Her tears had dried up like lakes in a drought, and she refused to show any weakness anymore. She was a solider, marching back and forth on her stiff, wooden legs, destined to be mute forever.
She shivered, pulling her robes closer towards her shaking body.
This was her life now.
She had to force herself not to be physically sick at the taste of His kisses, force herself to say "I love you too". Some days it was like she was an acrobat, treading carefully across the thin wire. Some days she feared she would fall off and tumble down to her death.
Ginny bowed her head, resting it against the wood, shutting her eyes from her new world.
This was her life.
I honestly don't know why I wrote this :D But still, a review would be nice? ;)
