Summary: Sasuke drowns in hatred

A/N: I stumbled across this today. I wrote it many, many years ago when I first set out to be a writer and poet, and I just thought "Sasuke". So, here it is!

I waited in the pool of pain

For someone to save me from

Myself.

Drowning. Head slipping under.

No one came so I dragged myself halfway out.

But my soul was

Waterlogged

And

Heavy

I was pulled back in

Falling.

Down

Down

Down

And I thought death was the only way out

'let me go' I cried

But the slimy tendrils of hatred clung

And I sank beneath the surface

no one can save me

i am dead already
