Creature Of The Night

"You're beautiful…" he whispered, his frozen breath sending shivers down her spine. "So… warm… so… mortal…" He placed a soft kiss on her bare shoulder, his tongue darting out to taste her warmth.

He was so cold, so very cold… It scared her, enthralled her all the same. "Draco…" she whispered. Tears formed behind her eyes, she didn't know why they were there, she was to scared to care. He was so cold, so very cold…

"Hmmm?" he murmured. Resting his chin on her shoulder, he made small circles on her belly with his fingers.

She didn't want the tears to fall, for fear that they would freeze on her cheeks. "You're freezing… don't hurt me…" A ball of ice seemed to burst in the pit of her stomach, and she couldn't help but think something was going to go terribly wrong. He was so cold, so very cold…

He whirled her about to face him, a look of sadness etched into his brow. "I wish those words could move me… I'm sorry, my beautiful…" he whispered. He moved away from her, wallowing in pity for her. He wished he could have her life, her warmth, her innocence, her love. He wished he could feel for her, the way he would have, had he still been mortal.

"What do you mean?" she asked. The lack of contact with him comforted her to a point of where she wanted to leave him there, alone, and never look back on him. He was so cold, so very cold…

"You shan't be doing that, my beautiful, wouldn't even think on it, if I were you." he said, closing the distance between them yet again.

His word were as cold as his presence, she didn't like it. Once, long ago, she had thought of him as gracefully majestically wonderful, now she feared him more then anything else in the world. His pupils were rimmed with red, and around his eyes were black and blue. Suddenly she knew why he was so cold, she knew why he thought her beautiful after so long of loathing her. "You… you're a… a…" He was so cold, she felt her blood getting colder, so much colder…

"Yes, Ginevra, I am a vampyr, a creature of the night. Yes, Ginevra, I am drawn to your heart beat, to your warmth. And yes, Ginevra, I am going to kill you, I am going to suck the life out of your pretty little neck."

THE END… Seriously, if anyone reads Fallen, this is really the end, not a ploy or anything…

Disclaimer: I do not own anything, as I have stated before, I am quite thingless.

A/N: Oddly enough, I was in an incredibly non-morbid mood when I wrote this… I hope ya'll liked it, I enjoyed writing it, and maybe there will be more, if you want more, as for it, if not, tell me to stop.

Love much,
