I've always wondered what it would be like if Kate had met Ziva. so I decided I'd write my own story. Some parts of the story are very simular to the under covers episode. Other parts I came up with on my own. My verison of the story begins three months after kate had been shot.
(Kate is in the elevator thinking to herself on her way up to the bull pen.)
"I'm so ready to be back at work. I miss picking on Tony and Mcgee, I miss hanging out in Abby's lab. Oh man I'd better brace myself for her welcome back hug haha. Well maybe it wont be so bad."
Abby is the only person Kate wanted to see while she was recovering. From what Abby told Kate, the boys didn't miss her at all. A leasion officer named Ziva David has been at her desk. She is pretty as far as Kate could tell from the photo the photo Abby sent. Abby also mentioned that there was a new director, a female director who gos by the name of Jenny Shepard.
The elavator ding brought kate back to reality. Entering the bullpen, it was empty like she had expected. double checking her watch to make shure she wasn't early. '' no im right they get a case right about now '' right as she was sitting down at her desk mcgee walks in looking like a waiter .kate started laughting witch inturn startled mcgee almost spilling his coffey and looking up so see kate at her desk . ''kate'' he said enthuseasicly ''your back dont you have one more day"? yes but i thought id come back today and get back in to my groove so im not trying to play catch up tomrrow . '' oh good plan '' but you might want to talk to boss man before you do anything ''. why '' said kate . i would tell you but right now i have to go breif tony and ziva in MTAC .
not wanting to be left out kate ran to catch up with mcgee '' great ill come with i can meet officer david and get up to date with this case.'' ''i dont think thats a good idea kate.'' said mcgee with a causious tone. '' why its just MTAC ?'' said gibbs as he walks up behind mcgee. ''ya mcgee why shoulden i go up,'' said kate with a cocky tone to her voice and a smile on her face. trying to think of an excuse and unable to come up with one , mcgee said ''no reason lets go in''.geting tony up was a simple task kate told ziva to pour water on his head, ziva complied and tony got up instantly . flaying his arms around like a mad man. he looks up at ziva and says. '' what was that for?'' ''good your awake, mcgee is on the computer he wants to talk to you.'' '' ok but next time can you please just shake me awake?'' ''no, what fun would that be?'' said ziva with a sly smile on her face.
a some what anoyed tony got up and quickly put on a robe so no one would see his mighty mouse boxers and whent over to the computer.
what is it mcgee i was dreaming about kate in a way that if she ever found out would have me in HR faster then gibbs could headslap me. cuz you and i both know how great a body kate has. mcgee trying to save kate the humiliation and tony a beating he tried to cut him off before he got to far, but dident succseed kate bolted from her seat yelling ''tony! what is wrong with you''.'' kate your back'' said tony with an instinc to cover the back of his head. what are you doing back, your not supose to be back till tomrrow. '' i came back a day early to catch up so i dont fall behind tomrrow. '' good for you agent todd.'' said ziva off screan.
''is that officer david? '' yes and you can call me ziva everyone else does. '' okay then ziva can i get an update for this case. '' yes and tony can give it to you i have to uses the restroom. ziva gets up leans in to tony and wispers ''good luck.'' tony looks back to the computer and gives a nervous grin.
this is the end of the first chapter i like to keep them short so sorry if that bugs you, but if i keep them short i can update quicker see you in chapter two.
