'Thoughts from POV'

"We found a way to get your sight back Lance" Allura announced.

Everyone looked excited, but no one was as excited about this as Lance was.

"Really?"

"Yes" excited murmuring, "however, there is a price"

Lances sightless eyes narrowed slightly, "and what is the price?"

Allura shifts uncomfortably, "either someone would have to give up their sight or you would have to give up a different sense"

Silence.

Lance closed his eyes before opening his mouth to say his choice when a different voice beat him to it.

"I'll do it"

Lance gasped and stared at where the voice originated from.

Lancifah gasped when he felt a slight pinch in his neck before everything went silent.

Keith took the syringe out of his boyfriends' neck and handed to Coran as he held onto the taller boy.

"Allura get the stuff ready" the second in command ordered, ignoring the shocked looks on everyone's faces, "we're getting Lances sight back"

The Paladins entered a room with two Cryopods (they were green instead of blue). Allura had Keith put Lance in one before he got in the other. The pods glass closed and Keith stared at Lance, wanting the last thing he saw to the one he loves.

"I'm sorry for defying you Lance but-"

With that said, Keith closed his eyes and allowed his world to be slipped into everlasting darkness.

Lance groaned as he felt gravity pull him to the ground. Strong, beefy arms caught him and steadied the shaky boy.

"Hey Lance" Hunks' voice sounded, "how do you feel?"

Lance opened his eyes only to hiss and close them quickly when the bright light invaded his—wait.

Lance reopened his eyes, this time more slowly, and gasped when he saw. Tears welled up in his eyes and a wet laugh left his mouth.

"I-I can... Hunk I Can See!" The hidden Altean excitedly hugged his best friend, "OMI-GOD! I CAN SEE!"

"Good" a soft voice behind him said.

Lance turned and saw Keith leaning against a green Cryopod.

Tears fell from Lances eyes, not from happiness but from shock and disbelief.

Lance could only watch as Keith fell to the ground unconscious.

Keith awoke with a soft groan and sat up.

The memories from earlier played in his mind and the Half Breed sighed. Keith opened his eyes and smiled when he saw only darkness.
