Santana Lopez noticed him a while back. At first it seemed innocent-a little creepy, sure- but innocent.
Then it became a daily thing.
And those eyes.
Those big, bloodshot eyes that would just…stare. She could feel him looking at her before she saw him. She knew when he would appear.
And then the stranger started watching her when she slept. But she couldn't tell anybody, for if she did, Santana just knew something terrible would happen.
Santana wondered if the guy even knew that Santana was aware of the stalking.
She guessed not, because if he knew she saw him, he would stop. Nobody messes with Santana Lopez. Even strangers.
But he did know. Chad knew Santana saw him, for he could easily pick through the thoughts of any feeble human beings brain.
He wondered why she didn't report this to the authorities.
However, Chad was immensely grateful that Santana didn't cry out for help, as it made his job a whole lot easier.
Chad licked his lips and crouched under Santana's window.
"Good night," Brittany whispered, snuggled up next to Santana. "Night," the Latina replied curtly. Her heart was pounding, and her head was swimming with terror. He
was here, and closer than ever. No! Santana told herself fiercely. Just forget about it. We'll be fine. He won't touch us. Santana drew in a shaky breath and closed her eyes,
holding Brittany's hand tightly.
I won't let anybody hurt Britt.
Santana woke up hours later, her hand still tightly intertwined with Britt's. She laid her head back on the pillow, dizzy with relief.
As realization hit Santana, her breath caught in terror. He was on the headboard, watching. STILL watching. Santana drew in her breath to let out a killer scream, but the guy
quickly covered her mouth. "Don't." He whispered. Santana was now shaking, terrified of what might happen next. This was like a horror movie come true. The creepy guy
started stroking her hair, and soon his hand made it's way to Santana's neck. "If you don't struggle, I won't hurt your little friend there." He whispered in her ear. Santana
shuddered with disgust. She then squeezed her eyes, and prayed. I'm sorry. I know I'm not the nicest person in the world, and I probably deserve whatever's coming to me. But
please, PLEASE don't let him hurt Brittany. Santana, now crying, shifted her gaze over to Brittany, who was still peacefully asleep. Goodbye. I love you. And that was her last
human thought, before Santana's whole life changed dramatically."THIS WILL ONLY HURT A LOT!" Chad yelled manically, a wild look in his eyes. His hunger will finally be satisfied.
Chad lunged toward Santana, plunging his fangs into her neck.
