While everyone else is more focused on the mission for the Omega Keys – Arcee stays much more uptight. Somewhere deep in her spark tells her constantly that if she doesn't go over everything as much as she can, something bad will happen.
She has to stay focused, for the team.
Even with Smokescreen, the novice that he is, as an integral part of the mission, she couldn't let him lose focus.
As much as he can't help being excited to be in the action, and how that it annoyed her to her boiling point, she couldn't help but look out for him.
If anything, a truce between them amidst all the chaos would be what is needed at the moment.
