It was midnight or a little after when he came down. His footsteps echoing softly around the quiet mansion; lighting up his hand so he could see he made his way to the kitchen. Reaching the smaller kitchen in the mansion he turned on the light, discharging his hand. He had woken up starving, the fridge was full but nothing really stood out as a good snack at the moment. He grabbed a soda, forming a small explosion he popped the lid off the bottle and began to drink it down. That's when he heard the sniffling. It was quiet and soft, and coming from another room. He moved out of the kitchen and followed the sound until he grew loud enough he knew he was at the room it was coming from. He looked inside. It was dark but he could tell it was the TV room. He couldn't tell who it was and almost decided to leave. Then he found himself walking into the room. He pulled up a chair and sat down across from the person.

"You okay?" The person had ceased crying as they nodded slightly. It was quiet for a long time; Remy drank his soda while the person still sat there on the couch. They had their knees pulled up to this chest with their arms wrapped around their knees. "Do you want to talk bout somethin'?" The figure shook their head. They started sniffling again. Remy got up and sat himself down next to the figure. "Are you sure?" He tried to find their eyes but it was hard to do. The figure nodded, a shiver running through them, then turned and looked at Remy with glowing orbs for eyes. "I could help, if ya want?" The person paused before breaking down crying again. They dove at Remy crying into his shirt, he pulled his arms up around them and began to try and sooth them. "Hey it's okay." Soon they had cried themself to sleep, leaving Remy to fall asleep as well holding the figure in his arms.

The next morning Rouge walked into the TV room to find her adopted-brother and Remy having fallen asleep on the couch together in each other's arms. She just rolled her eyes. "Boys."
