A/N: What? No I didn't decide that because I wrote a story that used most of my crazy college life then I should do the same with high school. I would never.
If you asked Sam Evans how is whole thing started he would describe the moment that Mercedes Jones walked in to Mike Chang's party perfectly.
If you asked Mercedes Jones then she would say that it started the moment during rehearsal when she wanted to punch Rachel Berry in the face. Repeatedly.
Rachel, of course, would say that it started because everyone was jealous of her talent.
But none of their answers would match Santana Lopez's smirk which she would toss your way as she tied her hair back into a ponytail and explained that all of this started when she and Rachel were 5 and Rachel stepped on her foot, thus starting would be be Santana's reign of terror which would be focused on Barbra Streisand's drag impersonator (the nicest of her nicknames for Rachel).
Then she would inform you that you were actually in her way with your existence before calling climbing into her booth to start the show.
