Chapter 1
Ben POV
"Ben! Get your lazy butt down here! Kevin is here, and it's time to go! Grandpa said its important!" Gwen, my cousin, had to just wake me up in the middle of a good dream. I groaned and opened my eyes, just to shut them again. "It's too bright. The sun needs an off switch." I muttered into my pillow. I honestly did not want to get out of bed. I had a bad feeling about it.
I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and heard my door open. "Gwen, get out, or I'll-"I grpwled. "Who the hell said anything about me being Gwen? Last I checked, my name was Kevin." A smooth voice replied, making me jolt underneath the black and green comforter. I flushed lightly and, immediately hoped that he couldn't see it with my comforter pulled up around my head. You see I might kinda ... sorta ... maybe have a little bit of a crush on him.
I was quick to ask, "Where's Gwen?" Kevin gave me a smirk, that went straight where it shouldn't have. "She's waiting in the car while I came to wake you up and kick your ass out of bed." Kevin explained. I gave him a confused expression that turned to realization. " Kevin don't you dare..." I growled in a menacing voice. Kevin's grin turned down right evil as he quickly grabbed the comforter I was tangled up in and yanked me out of bed, tumbling down to the ground with a loud thud. I groaned and sat up all fours, rubbing my aching ass.
A shiver crawled up my spine. I looked for the reason, when I suddenly realized the why. I had forgotten that I had fallen asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow last night, not even bothering to put pjs on after my shower.
I lept back up onto my feet with an indignant squawk. I blushed a bright crimson color, before grabbing a pillow and pulling it to my chest to hide - badly - behind. I felt Kevin's gaze on me as I told him to get out of my room before I kick his ass out. I heard footsteps close to me, since he had to move past me to get to the door.
I peeked out from behind the pillow to see Kevin really close to me. I looked warily at the smirk on his face when suddenly those warning bells and flashing red lights went off in my head. I yelped loudly as I felt a large hand swat my ass, leaving behind a sharp stinging pain that caused me to mewl slightly. My embarrassment turned quickly into annoyance, cheeks turning red with anger at the way too tempting tease.
I snarled at the raven haired boy who had the gall to laugh at me. I reached over to my bed and threw my other pillow at him as he started to leave the room. It hit the door with a harmless thump and fell to the ground. Though I was still a bit annoyed at Kevinn, I let out a sigh of relief that he wasn't in the same room with me.
Sure he had seen me without a shirt a couple of times, but that had been before I realized I was, err, 'crushing' on him per say. He had never seen me without my pants before. I crossed to my closet to grab my normal outfit. It was going to be one of those days, I just knew it.
Kevin POV
I heard Gwen screech at Ben to get his ass up, before I saw her come out the car. " Kevin, can you go kick his ass out of bed? I'm tired of getting him up everyday. I'm not a fucking alarm clock." the orange-haired girl sighed, rubbing her temples as if she had a headache. I gave her an annoyed look, before I got out of my precious car. I didn't really mind, because after all, this was Ben. I walked up to his room and opened the door, only to be greeted by a muffled threat, "Gwen, if you don't get out, I'll-" I crossed my arms my arms and cut him off, "Who the hell said anything about me being Gwen? Last I checked my name was Kevin."
I saw him jolt through the covers ever so slightly. A bright pair of green eyes looked out from where he had almost completely cocooned himself in his black comforter, and quickly asked, "Where's Gwen?" There was a slight tint of pink across the bridge of his nose and cheeks making his freckles stand out on them, small pieces of his hair framing them. "She's waiting in the car while I came to kick your ass out of bed." I explained. His brown eyebrows scrunched up cutely in confusion, as I let some of the mischief show on my face with a wicked grin. It suddenly dawned on him, like someone cracked him over the head with a rolled up newspaper.
"Kevin, don't you dare..." He gave me a threatening growl. My smirk turned evil as I grabbed his comforter and yanked. Hard. Ben fell with a thud and got up on all fours rubbing his ass, groaning.
But instead of jumping up and yelling at me like I thought he would, he looked a bit startled as a shiver wracked his body. He suddenly looked like he had had an epiphany. Ben jumped up, blushing a red in embarrassment. I followed the flush of red down his chest to the brown tuft of hair poking out of his boxers that had slipped down his hips in his sleep.
'Well, even though I never questioned it. It still feels good to know that he is a natural brunette the hard way.'I thought as he grabbed one of his pillows and tried to hide behind it. It was cute that he seemed to take the whole 'if I can't see you, you can't see me' literally. He growled at me to get out while still trying to hide behind his pillow.
'Oh, Benjy, you should know better than that, to leave yourself exposed.' I thought as I walked towards him. He peeked out at me from behind the pillow warily since I stood rather close to him. I could practically see the alarms going off in his head. He didn't even see it coming as I brought my hand down to have a hard swipe at his delicious ass. Ben yelped and then let a small whine, the bright flush of his cheeks spreading to his ears.
Okay, time to go before I end up doing something I regret. I sauntered out of the door with a laugh. There was a growl and a thump as soon as I closed the door. Ben must have thrown something at me, probably a pillow by the sound of it. Better let the princess have his privacy if I don't want to have a sulky brat on my hands. Gwen would never let hear the last of it if she had to deal with her cousin being pissy all day.
I walked all the way back to my car and got in. "Did you finally get him out of bed?" Gwen asked, not looking up from her book in the passenger seat. I smirked as I laid back with my hands behind my head. "Yeah, Yeah, he's up. He'll be out in a minute or so." It was quiet for a minute before I turned my head back to Gwen. "Hey, any clue to what your grandpa wants?" Gwen sighed, but shook her head. "He didn't say. Just that it was important." I nodded and caught glance of green out the window. It was Ben finally done. I turned the key in the ignition to turn it on as Gwen got out and pulled the seat up.
"Finally! You take more time getting ready than a girl does!" Gwen complained as Ben crawled into the back seat. "Shut up, Gwen! There's nothing wrong with wanting to sleep in for once." Bright green eyes caught mine in the rearview mirror. I gave him a smirk that he scowled at and pointedly broke eye contact to look out the back window, arms crossed over his chest. 'Well, well ,well, Levin, you might just have chance after all if that blush were any indication.'
End of chapter 1
So, I have started editing this story. It won't really change too much, but I have rearranged somethings. I'll try to get chapter two out when I can, about next week, since I'm looking for a new job and, my family is trying to find a new place to live, so it's a busy time of month. But I will get (edited) chapter two out as soon as possible so the writing style matches up. Maybe finally start on chapter three and four later this weekend.
