Letter To Jorja Fox a.k.a. Sara Sidle
(Reminiscent of her "Goodbye" letter to Grissom)
Jorja (Sara),
You know we love you, we feel we've loved you forever.
Lately, your fans haven't been feeling well, about the last season of CSI, the constant angst, and the look in Billy's (Grissom's) eyes. Truth be told, we're tired.
Over the summer, watching the previews for the upcoming Season, we realized something, and we haven't been able to talk about anything else.
Since you left the first time, we've spent our time blogging, writing fan fiction, listening to critics and networks project the future of CSI. We've been fretting over the fate of Grissom and Sara only to left feeling hollow after every episode, hoping for any mention of Sara's name and Grissom's reactions. Although Sara didn't die (thank, God!), the fans have experienced a little death with the absence of Sara.
We are so sorry.
Not sorry that you came back, but sorry for the reason that you had to return, to lay the beloved Warrick Brown to rest (God Bless Gary Dourdan), but then you left again, and it seems, the fans have thrice experienced death with your absence.
No matter how we try to fight it, we're left with the feeling that with you gone, and now with Billy (Grissom) leaving, nothing will ever be the same.
We know that time marches on and that careers do as well, but it does not ease the pain that we feel in your absence.
Know that we are trying very hard to keep tuned in past episode 10 of Season 9, but without you there and another pending absence, it will be very difficult. Be safe, and know that your fans love and care for you and wish you well. Watching you on CSI was allowed us to bring you into our homes, so no matter where you are, or what you do, you always have a home..in our hearts. We are so very grateful.
We love you…we always will.
This is not Goodbye, merely see you soon.
