Anya I. Kirk & Crimson Echo

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Anya, why can't I go with you to study?" Sarasenna asked. "Because, I want

to go on my own for once. Just me and Zian." Senna had been bugging her all

day and she was beginning to regret even telling the Vulcan half breed.

"Please," Senna begged, pulling lightly at Anya's sleeve. "I said no already!"

as soon as she said this, she immediately regretted it as she watched Sarasenna

storm off towards her room in disappointment. Anya ran to apologize to her.

"Senna, I'm so sorry, I just want to go on my own this time."

"O.k., fine I'm sorry for bugging you all day." the two girls hugged and made

up. After, Anya rushed to her room to change and get ready for studying.

I'm so bored!" Senna sighed, kicking off her pair of federation boots and

plopping down on her bed. "I wonder what they're studying... Hold on a

second... we don't go back to base-school for three months!" Senna gasped, but

ignored her thought. "Maybe they're playing a game or something..." a fearful

thought popped into Senna's head, but she brushed it off as her father, Spock

So'Sapek walked into the room. She lifted her hand and did the 'live long and

prosper' sign. He did also, and she sat up. "Hello, Father," she said quietly,

walking over.

"Have you seen Anya? She should be back from studying by now, it's been nearly

three hours since I last spoke to her."

"Actually, Senna, I came to ask you. But to answer your query, I have not."

Senna sighed. "Senna, who was she studying with?" Senna couldn't remember, but

she remembered that it was one of Chekov's sons. "One of Ensign Chekhov's

sons, Pavel It think."

"Alright." Spock left and went back to the bridge. Upset, Senna stormed down

to the recreation room and found her mother's old piano. She played her

lullaby, the one that her mother had played and taught her. It was a majestic,

slow song. She waited quietly for Anya to come back.
