"Where are you?" I asked through the phone, passing back and forth in my room, I could hear the shuffling in her feet; she was in the woods somewhere. "You should have been here hours ago." He then fell onto his bed.
"I'm sort of busy right now," She said. "I'll get back to you later, okay?" She hung up rather quickly. I sighed and dropped onto my bed with such great force that the poster dropped from the wall. I looked at the clock; our date should have started hours ago. I lost all hope and loosened the tie, taking it off and throwing it on the ground. Still lying on my back I unbuttoned my shirt, and went into the bathroom. I took my shirt off, leaving it on the counter next to the sink.
"Well Andrew, way too loose you're chance again." I sighed, and looked at my bear chest. It looked so pale compared to the rest of Eleanor's friends. They were all covered in tattoos, some of them similar, but all of them seemed to be decorated in them. They were also all so strong, and mature. They all probably went to the gym everyday all day.
"Drew, are you in there?" Mom asked from the other side of the door. "I thought you were going to be with Ellie all night.
"Yeah mom." I called back. Then opened the door. "I was going too, the plans got changed though." She looked at me, shirtless sighed and shook her head.
"Well, if you're here, can you go put this money in the bank?" Mom asked, I nodded, "But put a shirt on first please." I smiled at her, and went back to my room. I pulled a shirt on and grabbed the keys to my black mustang. Then started heading out the door. I went into the car.
"Let's see," I counted the money mom had given me, it was just enough to get the tattoo I wanted. I smiled, and headed down the street to the tattoo parlor, smiling even wider. "Hey Benny."
"Drew, you have to stop hanging around here, my boss will get made if you don't actually have me put a tattoo on you." Benny said. I pulled the money out of my pocket. "Well, now it's a different story. What do you want?" I pulled out another piece of paper of the design of one of the tattoos I saw on one of her friends. It looked sort of like an eye. Soon it was done, and I was heading over to Eleanor's house. I got there, and pulled off my shirt, in her back yard, watching her swim.
"Wait. What's that?" She pointed at my shoulder where the tattoo was . She sat next to me at the edge of the pool. "Is that a tattoo?"
"Yeah, you don't like it?" I asked. "I saw some of your other friends have it, so I thought you might like it. You spend a lot of time with them."
"You were trying to be like them?" She asked. I nodded. "Don't ever try to change yourself for me, I like you for you." She leaned forward and kissed me. "I love you."
