- Aishiteru -
By Keeshe Kal'daka
I watch you secretly
Silent and carefully
So you'll never know
I cannot help it
For you are to special not to
How did it all begin?
This love in side
Calling out just for you
Screaming for you to listen
Hear this love
Forbidden it may be
But it happened all the same
It hurts, more and more
Sometimes so much
I just can't ignore
But you ignore me
Yes, that you do
It's hard to keep quiet
So long it has been
Since I had these feelings
With your violet eyes
And your crimson hair
You are different
Set apart from everyone else
But cold all the same
I guess it was:
Unconditional
Unrestricted
Yet ignored
That was all it was
I won't stop either
Not for the world
Not even for you
I will always love you
Aya-kun, always
-Ken Hidaka
The Siberian sighed, finishing the poem with a flick of his wrist, signing his name. Another poem, another piece of paper, that won't reach that red head. Ken didn't have the guts to. The boy wasn't much of a poet but it got his feelings out, out of his mind for the day. He didn't write one everyday, just when his feelings hurt so much when it comes to Aya. It hurts to have his love be locked up, caged, never to be free because of fear. He feared of rejection, of more pain for that cold silky voice to damn him to hell.
Fingers graced over the white paper, picking it up from the desk of his room, to place it in a secret folder. Hidden away with other pieces of papers with words of silent love written. Chocolate brown eyes were blurred by sadness, loneliness, and pain, something he had to hide very well from the other assassins. Ken's heart felt very heavy, even after writing this. It'll be hard to face a mission now, but he'll try. He'll do his damnest not to let anyone suspect. "Aishiteru, Aya Fujimiya, aishiteru."
The slip of paper was put away, never seen by amethyst eyes, not this time.
