Okay, so i had an idea for this story and I'm pretty excited! This is my first Twilight/Night World crossover and I know there aren't many of these, but I hope at least some people will read it.

I'm hoping to finish this as soon as I can and any ideas you might have are welcome. I might not use them, but I'd love to hear them. It will help me when I'm stuck and thus I can update faster. :D

DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of these books.

So, there's only one thing left to say, ENJOY!

PROLOGUE

"Bella?" the voice on the other end of the phone asked in surprise.

"Yeah, it's me. I was just... This is very embarrassing, but I don't know what to bring with me on this trip." Bella sat at her desk in her room, looking at her empty suitcase on the bed. It'd been there for three hours before she finally caved and rang her friend.

"You mean clothes?"

Bella nodded before realizing that the other girl couldn't see and then muttered a "yeah".

"Oh! Well, defiantly some nice, rough clothes for clubbing and-"

"Clubbing? No one said anything about clubbing to me." Bella frowned slightly. As far as she knew, they were going on a school graduation trip, not to party.

"Well, yeah, of course. I mean, did you really think we'd just sit around when we didn't have anything else to do?" the girl sounded amused and Bella could almost hear the laugh that threatened to escape.

"No, but-"

"Come on, Bella, live a little. This is our time to live and I am not about to let you give it up. It's our Senior year! Well, technically it's over, but..."

Bella bit her lip and clutched her phone tighter. "I don't know about this, Jessica..."

"Honestly, Bella, this Edward thing has gone on for too long. You need to stop moping and just get on with your life. Las Vegas is the perfect opportunity!"

Bella's eyes hardened and her grip tightened to the point that she was sure her phone was about to break. And when she spoke, it was through clenched teeth, "Listen, I need to go. See you tomorrow." And she hung up.

Standing up, she angrily went over to her dresser and pulled it open, revealing her tomboyish clothes, which she knew was not what she should wear to Las Vegas. She didn't want to admit it, but her friend did have a point. She'd let Edward leaving get the best of her for almost a year and it was time to change. The problem was that it was so damn hard. It hurt too much. She could still feel the ache in her chest from his absence.

No. This is not how she wanted to live her life. She needed to get over him and get on with her life, like Jessica had said. He wasn't coming back and moping wasn't helping anyone. Las Vegas was the perfect opportunity and Bella would be sure to take it. From then on, she wouldn't be Bella Swan, the girl who got her heart-broken. She would be Bella Swan, the girl who didn't need anyone anymore.

Changing her reputation would be hard and she was sure that she'd want to go back to her old self, but if she wanted to start a new and better life, she'd have to get herself together. Love had broken her and she wasn't about to let it ruin her anymore. It made her weak.

And in the darkness of the outside and her room, she smirked a very un-Bella like way. This was her opportunity on a new life and she wasn't about to let it pass.

So, what do you guys think? Please tell me what I should work on so I can improve my writing for you guys' enjoyment.
