People say depression is like a ship, it twists and turns but doesn't flip
You can get through it they say, happiness would come to you one day
But it's like a ship in water on a storm that might never end, you hold on I'm just trying not to fall In
some where it depression like it's a hope that one day they'll get out,some of us height so deep that we don't even know it's there till it's out
Most people who see pain, other ones in it themselves and sometimes they don't even know what to say
But those sing us falling off the boat into the water, don't even bother
You're so caught up in their own problems that they forget , they forget the broken ones because they don't get
The broken ones the cracked or bruised, They leave and pay their dues
People walk around saying it's nothing and they're fine, because if they say they're not people cry
A girl at my school had cuts on her arm, I said that was a lot of work just to cause you harm
But in fact I knew what you meant what you felt, but I knew no matter what I did it wouldn't go away even if I try to drag it out
Some scars are buried inside is so deep that no one can see them except for a few, somewhere then on the outside for all to view
Schools always try to find us before it's too late,but when they do they will even know what to say
It's hardest to always feeling into you always feeling blue , but the doctors always say we know what to do
They tell us to do this or do that, we do their tricks we do the act
People are so afraid of the dark ,ones who live in the darker so afraid of the light because they know I want to people see what's inside ha I can already hear the remarks
Do you want it for attention or a teacher telling you to go to detention, some of us do need the attention but the ones not mention
We're back on that boat ,just trying to stay float
But falling into that darkness below, that happened ages ago
Falling into the water is like having a brick tied to your feet, you keep swimming and swimming but you can't cheat
Fate will always win no matter how many times you try, some fallen and are saved in the end well others well bye
It's funny to think back how are treated like a piece of broken glass one wrong move and we shatter,But When I want his help as we still scatter
Dr. listen we are fine we don't need help, the ship is still afloat so well Doesn't matter what we felt
For me depression is a ship in water, but when I try to explain it why even bother
