"Hey mom" Kyra greeted as she walked through the kitchen door.

"Hey honey" Reba greeted as she stopped what she was doing and went to hug her daughter.

"Listen mom, I need you to do something for me" Kyra asked while Reba hugged her.

"Sure, what is it" Reba asked looking at her daughter as she pulled away.

"You have to sign this" Kyra told as she pulled a paper out of her back pocket.

"What is it?" Reba asked as she took it from her daughter she was afraid of opening it before she asked.

"Well" Kyra said as she walked towards the living room.

"What, what Kyra," Reba followed

"Mom come on please"

"What is this paper about Kyra" Reba asked starting to get angry. "Find if you don't tell me I'll guess I'll have to read it" she threatened.

"Go ahead" Kyra told coolly as she sat down on the couch

Reba stood there and opened the paper and read. There was a gasp.

"You did what!" Reba asked not believing what the paper said

"Yea I did"

"Why!" Reba asked coming around to the left side of the couch.

"I wanted too" Kyra looked at her mother face to face.

"That's not a good enough answer Kyra" Reba said not blinking showing no expression. Reba was so mad she didn't know which way she should feel right now.

"Kyra!" Reba raised her voice. She was mad that Kyra wasn't talking.

"What mom!" Kyra yelled at her and got up

Reba grabbed Kyra from the arm and pulled her back.

'Let go of me mom" Kyra asked trying to shake her moms grasp

"First tell me what you were doing on school property smoking marijuana"

"Because I felt like it!" she said and ran out the front door.

Reba let out a frustrated grunt and a clenched her fists.

"Mom what just happened" Cheyenne asked running down the stairs.

"It's Kyra" Reba told her as she wondered back into the kitchen and Cheyenne was sure to follow.

"What she does this time" Cheyenne asked as she walked up to her mom demanding to know.

"She got in trouble at school Cheyenne" Reba told not really wanting to talk to her.

"What sort of trouble mom?" Cheyenne asked

"She got caught smoking' pot Cheyenne happy now!"

"She… did…

Oh my god" Cheyenne said in shock. "She can be so stupid sometimes geez" Cheyenne mumbled

"Cheyenne please go away, I need to think about what I should do about this" Reba asked trying to brush her away.

"Ok, but you should tell dad" Cheyenne said on her way out.

Reba watched her daughter leave and smashed her fist on the countertop suddenly every emotion came to her and she started to cry. For the first time since Brock left her she was so mad she cried. "Why" she mumbled.
