I was really inspired to create a poem of my own after reading 'Dreams in the Dusk' by Carl Sandburg. So I thought why not pretend lucy wrote it. Hope you enjoy
Lucy's POV
I'm am on the train heading back to Magnolia after a very successful mission with Natsu. Sadly though he's trying not to puke his guts out at the moment. I was very happy today, this was my 1 year anniversary for being in fairy tail. And it's all thanks to Natsu.
I was very happy he brought me to Fairy tail, it has been one of my major dreams and now it has come true.
We made it back to magnolia finally. I glanced at Natsu who was kissing the groug like it ment everything to him. 'Oh Natsu.' I thought to myself.
"I going to go home Natsu and clean up, you are more then welcome to come over afterwards." I said, noticing his head perk up and grin that grin of his.
"Okay Luce see you then!" he replied running off I guess to get ready. I make my way towards my apartment to do the same.
Finally I was home from that peaceful train ride.
I looked out my window and noticed it was already dusk, I knew Natsu would more then likely be showing up unexpectedly soon, so I decided to get a little writing done.
I finally finished all of my novels I was working on and decided I would try something new. Since the sun was setting I wanted to write a poem about dusk and many dreams that I had.
So I grabbed my journal and pencil and began to write.
Dreams at Dusk
Dreams,
dreams that only come once
Dreams that come at dusk.
Dusk,
A time that comes after dawn, a time where night comes to play.
Night,
When dusk is gone dreams appear.
Dreams,
They mostly spread cheer.
As long as you dream at dusk,
Your dream may only come once
After I finished I carefully read over it. I inwardly smiled at myself, knowing full well of why I put dreams as part of my poem.
I had always dreamed of making it in to fairy tail and thanks to Natsu I did just that. And I still can't believe all my dreams started at dusk.
