Chapter 1 : Sesshomaru's dead??
Flowing silver hair fell gently upon the back of it's owner. Said person turned to his small green comrade and uttered his name.
"Jaken," Jaken quivered. 'What would lord Sesshomaru want me to do? Surely not go back to protect that little wench, Rin,' Jaken thought worriedly.
"Help from you is not needed. Save yourself. I will be victorious.'
"B-but L-lord Sesshomaru….."
"Leave Jaken. I will kill Naraku." The imp turned sadly away from his master.
Sesshomaru stood, calculating his next attack. He had already broken through Naraku's seemingly faultless barrier, somehow. He didn't even know if he could do it again – he didn't even know how he did it the first time. All he knew was that he had to end this soon. He knew his vermin half brother Inuyasha and the pathetic humans he kept with him were very close.
Naraku chuckled. This fool thought he was going to kill him. Now that was amusing.
"Sorry to rain on your parade, Lord Sesshomaru, but nor you or anyone else will be killing me today." Naraku also knew that Inuyasha was approaching. 'I have to do something about Sesshomaru so that I am not defeated.'
Sesshomaru charged, sending out all of his senses, trying to catch any sign of trickery from Naraku. He hesitated briefly, readying his poison whips, as he heard Naraku muttering under his breath. However, as he regained his composure and charged yet again, he noticed his incredible speed diminishing and his body beginning to ache with exhaustion. 'What is this? I have not used that much energy. There is only one explanation.'
"What are you doing to me you pathetic excuse for a half demon?" Sesshomaru asked, his cold tone having a hint of anger.
" Now, why would I tell you, lord Sesshomaru. You are in my way, my battle is not with you."
"Then who? That whelp, Inuyasha? Is he really that much of a threat to you?"
"Why should I tell you? Sesshomaru, do not fear. You will die soon after your little half brother."
"Bastard, do not associate me with him! I will kill you where you stand!"
"I don't see how, lord Sesshomaru," Hakudoshi chuckled in his ear. " he has no heart. How do you kill one without a heart? That's the big riddle at the moment, isn't it?" Sesshomaru spun and swung at Hakudoshi. Shock covered the boy's face as Tokijin flew past his ear and pierced the heart of the sleeping babe in Kanna's arms.
"NO!" Naraku and Hakudoshi cried together. Hakudoshi growled as Sesshomaru fell. Naraku smirked as he and Hakudoshi turned to Kagura. Said wind demonness sighed.
'I have failed to kill Naraku. Inuyasha, I know you will mot fail. Your humans will not abandon you even if you ask it. However you are still only a half demon.'
Naraku smiled evily as he sent out a wave of his miasma, into which Kagura did as she was told and send her dance of blades, towards Sesshomaru's body. Said attack exploded in an array of oranges and reds. When the miasma and smoke cleared, Sesshomaru's body was nowhere to be seen. Naraku smirked at where Sesshomaru had been, while Hakudoshi just chuckled as he looked at his 'father'. However, a sound from the right quickly brought them out of their thoughts.
"Hiraikotsu!"
