Title: What If: Editing & Adding Some Scenes In "Joe Loves Mary Cherry"
Summary: Hi this is the artist aka No Doubt. I decided to twist some scenes around in the Popular episode "Joe Loves Mary Cherry" and add some scenes. What would happen if Harrison let Sam know the truth?
Disclaimer: I don't own anything about the episode "Joe Loves Mary Cherry", the characters, or the show! The WB and the writer's of the show own it all!
Setting The Stage: This begins at the part in the episode where Sam and Harrison are sitting together at Funky Town. They had been talking and Sam was getting ready to leave. She got up and kissed Harrison on the forehead. Delete everything after that from your mind and here we go:
Harrison couldn't hold his feelings for her inside any longer. He had to tell her now or risk losing her to George Austin. He caught the back of Sam's neck gently as she was pulling away from kissing him on the forehead. With his hand he guided her head down slowly so they were making eye contact. He paused for a minute and moved closer to her. His hand moved down her cheek line. She must have known what he was thinking because she didn't move. She could feel his breath on her face. It tickled her cheeks, she stood there wondering what would happen next trying not to break eye contact with him.
Harrison took a deep breath and then, closed the gap between them. Sam felt a strange tingling feeling from head to toe. This lead her to reply to the kiss. Once Harrison felt that he was not only kissing her, but she was kissing him back, he knew he had done the right thing.
A couple minutes later they separated. Sam sat back down next to Harrison. She looked up at him. She new it must have taken a lot of guts for him to do something like that. Harrison was always on the shy side. Two seconds ago she was totally in love with George, now she was feeling confused. Her body responded to Harrison's kiss immediately. Could it be fate? Maybe this whole argument with George was meant to be. She decided not to try and figure things out just yet.
Harrison who was sitting next to her couldn't believe it himself. He had never acted on his feelings for Sam before and he felt a little nervous even though it seemed right. He hoped he hadn't been to hasty and ruined their friendship.
He turned his head and looked back at Sam. She could feel his eyes on her. She turned and looked at him. Before, Harrison could say anything, Sam initiated another kiss. Maybe this whole skating party thing didn't turn out to be as bad as he orginally had thought.
THE END
The credits begin to roll across the screen..........!
