Death of an Angel
This is how an angel dies,
Falling from Heaven in a burst of light,
An explosion of feathers in the dead of night,
A visible death but rare in sight.
Broken and hurt they fall from the sky,
Their mind a mixture of dead and alive,
No one will notice how they hide,
No one can see the turmoil inside,
Suicide by the hands of their own selfish pride.
Diving from Heaven straight into Hell,
That's what happens when you kill yourself,
After no one has heard your cry for help,
The people around you too absorbed in themselves.
