Hiya! I saw Rise of the Guardians last week and absolutely fell in love with it. When I got into the fandom on tumblr, there was a piece of art that inspired me to write this. It's very sad hahaha. Enjoy!

He went to visit Jamie again today. Like usual.

He had kept his tradition of visiting Jamie everyday, ever since Jamie started to believe.

"Jamie, look! I'm making it snow!" this was a new development for Jack's power, and he was so eager to show the boy. There was no response, but Jack knew the boy was excited about this.

This is so awesome, Jack! You're really making it snow!

"Wow, look Jamie! It's coming down so fast! I've gotten so good at this!"

You're going to make more awesome snowdays with this, Jack, I know it!

"What do you think? Do you like it, Jamie?" Jack turned to Jamie's grave, grinning. "Do you?"

There was no response, but Jack could feel his first believer saying, "I love it Jack."

"If only…If only you were still here to tell me so…" Jack gave a wry smile. Still smiling at the grave, he hopped up into the air, floating with ease.

"See you tomorrow, Jamie. I'll come back to visit." he smiled, as if though Jamie agreed, even though it was silent. He left a sculpture of Jamie at the head of the tombstone, like he always did in days past, and flied away.

The sculpture glittered, as if Jamie was still alive, believing.
