Yong Soo stumbled yet again as the song picked up pace which in turn caused Kiku to stumble against him.

"Why can't I lead my lovely lady around?" Yong Soo stared at his shorter partner.

"I'm not a woman." Kiku answered simply as he paused and considered what else to do for this as due to their height differences, he couldn't really lead well with the song though he could attempt to do so.

"But you're playing the woman's role." Yong Soo pointed out childishly.

"I'm dancing as a follow not the 'woman's' role." Kiku grumbled, getting somewhat annoyed with his boyfriend.

Kiku took the lead, "Keep up."

His steps were precise yet a certain beautiful passion filled the room as Kiku performed the familiar steps and managed to keep Im Yong Soo following his movements with practiced precision and the actual slight push that a lead took on when he danced and helped the follow along.

Yong Soo cursed at the fact that now he was playing the 'woman's' role as he followed Kiku's steps and instinctively obeyed the silent commands given to him.

"That was a good." Yong Soo finally stated a beat or two after the song had ended.

"Not really." Kiku shrugged; Kiku was an alright dancer though he couldn't compare with the people that Kiku had once danced with.

"What do you mean? You could be a professional, almost like you had lessons!" Yong Soo gasped as he stared at his boyfriend, and then realization hit him, "You did, you did have lessons!"
Kiku sighed as he stared at his feet, "I did, but I'd rather dance with you." His soft murmur cut through the air and lit Yong Soo's face lightly with an embarrassed flush.

"I love you, and you're my boyfriend, never theirs." Yong Soo stated boldly, but in response, Kiku moved to lean against him and did not ever bring up some of those past relationships as they lost meaning when compared to Kiku's one love that stood before him with such a radiant and confident smile on his face.

Sure, they'd often fought like cats and dogs, but Kiku would rather have this than to have anyone else trying to be Kiku's missing puzzle piece that was at last found.

Kiku smiled slightly as he went to teach Yong Soo yet again how to perform the dance that they'd been trying at all day.
