Keely looked out the window and thought. Just thought.

"In the future, will you wait for me?"

She had never imagined saying goodbye would be as hard as it was. But when you love someone, it leaves scars on your heart forever. She and Phil had to figure that out the hard way.

She looked at the picture frame at her bedside table and gently stroked it with the tips of her fingers, wishing she could touch those lips just once more.

She blasted her radio as the tears fell like angry rainfall. He was always the one. She was always his. But they didn't figure that out until it was too late.
