"Castiel." Cassidy said as she stepped outside, still in her pajama dress and dark blue robe. Castiel turned to her and nodded.
"Hello Cassidy." He said. "Shouldn't you be asleep?" He asked. She nodded slowly.
"But I was wondering…" She said. He cocked a brow.
"Yes?" He asked as she stepped towards him.
"Can I…" He stared at her, waiting for the question. "Can I see your wings?" She asked softly. He seemed sort of surprised.
"I thought you could always see my wings." He said. She nodded slowly once again.
"But… I always see it all wonky like. When they're not out, it's all blurry, when they are and they're invisible it's all hidden by mist. I want to see them." She said as she crossed her arms. "You've seen mine plenty of times. Hell you fixed them more than once." She stared at her feet awkwardly. She heard a rustle of feathers and looked up.
She expected Castiel go be gone like he usually was, but he still stood there. His wings stretched out behind his back. They weren't misty or fading in and out.
"Wow…" Was all she managed to breathe out. She almost couldn't control it as her wings sprouted from her back. She swore she heard a slight chuckle from the Angel, and she blushed. "May I?" He nodded as she reached her hand out and slowly ran her fingers over the soft black feathers.
The wing seamed to twitch, but Castiel didn't move. She let out a slight giggle as he ran his fingers over her feathers, but let out a soft squee (Like squeeze except you leave off the ez) when he hit a sensitive spot on the feather covered skin.
"Sorry." He said pulling his hand back. She shook her head.
"No… it's okay… it actually felt kinda nice." Kinda nice? What the hell was she thinking!? Her own comment made her blush till she felt him ruffling her feathers and shuttered a bit, falling forward so he held her in an awkward hug as he moved his fingers over her feathers making her giggle.
Then he felt her wrap her arms around his waist and run her fingers through his feathers. So for a while they stood there in each other's arms while they rand their hands through each other's feathers, Cassidy giggling every now and then till Cassidy began to breath softly and stopped playing with his feathers. He looked down to see she had fallen asleep and made his own wings disappear. Cassidy's wings shrunk slowly till they were gone.
He picked her up easily and hers arms limply fell away from his sides. Once he was inside the motel room, he laid her down on the bed she was using and pulled her sheets up to her shoulders. This was not the last time they showed each other their wings.
