The Marauder Mash

I was working in the dorm late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his bed began to rise
And suddenly to my surprise

From my trophy room in the castle east

The grindylows all came from their pond
To get a jolt from my wand

The Hinkypunk's were having fun
The party had just begun
The guests included Moony.

The scene was rockin', all were digging the sounds
Peter on chains, backed by his baying hounds
The Weird sisters were about to arrive
With their vocal group, "The wand-Kicker Five"

They played the mash

Out from his coffin, Viktor's voice did ring
Seems he was troubled by just one thing
He opened the lid and shook his fist
And said, "Whatever happened to my Bulgarian twist?"

It's now the mash

Now everything's cool, Viktor's a part of the band
And our marauder mash is the hit of the land

This was a thing I wrote a long time ago, yet it still makes me laugh, and I thought I'd post it as a day-late Halloween celebration. It comes from Dr Demento's song called 'Monster mash'. This is all my own words though, so it doesn't count as a songfiction and Fanfiction can't take it down. I hope not.
