"Sakura will you go out with me today?" I asked her with a smile. "No Naruto." She said quickly. "You'll never have Sasuke. He's an emo boy and they don't like girls." I said with a smirk. "Sasuke is not gay. He's in love with me. He's just to shy to say anything to me is all." Sakura said. "He's not in love with you." I told her. "Well I have plenty of people who love me even if I can't have Sasuke." She said with a smile.
"I suppose thats ture. I'm going home now." I said, turning away as I felt a wave of tears build up in my eyes. "I do care about as a freind though." She said, trying the chear me up but it was too late.
I ran home as fast I could. I made it home and shut myself in safely behind the door. With the certainty that nobody was around to see me I cried. I cried as quietly I could for fear that someone would hear me. Last thing I needed was for someone to hear me cry.
Then they would think I was a coward and a demon. I suddenly heard a knock at the door. I dried my eyes and went to open it. Hinata was standing in the door way.
I smiled and let her in. "Hye Hinata. Whats up?" I asked her, fakeing a happy smile like I always did. "You tell me." She said.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked her. "I heard you crying when I walked you your house. Something must of happened to you to make you cry. Everyone knows you do it when you're alone." She said.
I glared at her. She was a kind person but at that moment I wanted to hurt her more then I wanted anything else in the world.
"So you came here to laugh at me for crying?" I asked her in anger. "I came here to ask why and see if I could help. Don't think nobody will ever love you because I do Naruto. I've loved you sicne we were twelve. I've been afraid of rejection but I can see that you need me as much as I need you." She said to me, a blush filling her cheeks and tears in her eyes as the words came out of her mouth.
"You've loved me for two years and been quiet about it?" I asked her, not beleveing what she said. "Yes Natuto, I love you. I've loved you for so long. I've been afriad to say anything about it to you but now I see that you need me as much as I need you.' She said as he put her arms around me.
I fell in to her embrace and cried on her shoulder. "I know how you fell about Sakura but shes stuck on Sasuke. Even if you settle on being with me maybe you'll come to love me as much as you love her." She said as she ruber her my back with her hands.
I looked in to her white eyes and although they bore no features I could see the love in them. She truely cared about me unlike most of the others in the village. She actually loved me and wanted to be with me for the rest of her life. I looked at her with tears running down my face.
She kissed a tear off of my face and said "You're a good person even if I'm the only one who is willing to tell you. You know a pain greater then anyone in the village but you're kind to all no matter how they push you away. I feel a love for you that is beyond anything I've ever felt before. I want to be as close to you as anyone can ever be."
"I don't have to settle because I can see now that you're the one I want." I said with a smile. "I love you Naruto." She said to me. "I love you too Hinata." I said.
