Ok, this is a short one shot thing I did about 6 months ago!! It's my second shot at writing a Sly Cooper fan fic, my first one rubbish so I won't be posting it
The night Sly came back
"Sly please…" Tears stained Chloe's eyes to a faint red. She had been running all night in a black gown all for the fact that she needed her brother back; it hadn't been easy to cope with him leaving; now it was finally taking its toll on her.
A year ago, Sly Cooper had left with Carmelita after the biggest caper of their life. Braking into the Cooper Vault was a challenge for both of them. Sly met his sister in Venice on a roof top after running into her the night following Dimitri's escape. They didn't know they were related until the Cooper Gang ventured to the out backs of Australia.
Carmelita was at a table at the far side of the room, waiting for Sly to return. She didn't know the young girl weeping and looking into Sly's eyes with plead but she looked familiar, Carmelita was suspicious. Sly, looking at Chloe, put his hands on her shoulders and told her to wait outside the restaurant for him. She left the room with mascara running down her cheek. Murray was outside waiting in the team van. He and Chloe had been in love for at least 9 months now after Chloe saved Murray from a near death in China! She smiled softly at her boyfriend as she wiped her eyes with the back of her hand and smoothed down her dress. It disturbed Murray to see her like this. Since Sly left the Cooper tradition in her hands, the once lively young girl who would get into a fight with any cop and face them single handedly was becoming a quiet, over worked, stressed adult.
Chloe went to the decorative bridge over the mini stream flowing out of the car park leading to the benches outside under the gazebo. She took a deep breath to calm herself down as she walked to the middle of the bridge. She stopped, leaned on the side barrier and stared into the stream. She looked deeply into her reflection. One last tear fell and formed a rippled circle making her face a blur when another raccoon placed himself next to her. Sly turned her around. Chloe hung her head and lifted her eyes to meet his. Sly put his fingers under her chin and lifted his sad sister's head and smiled as if to say "I will". Chloe rejoiced a flung her arms around him. She had asked him to join back with the gang and Sly accepted but still wandering how Carmelita would take the news. He went back in side as Murray jumped out of the van to join his girlfriend in this happy moment. 1 minuet later Carmelita had stormed out of the restaurant. Sly didn't tell her the news but she had been getting annoyed with him for a number of days. So Sly was back to his old ways. The ride to Paris was a long one with Interpol on their tails for longer than ever, literally from England through Spain. Toward Paris they started to lose them until the finally cops gave in. The operation in France was reuniting with the gang and fulfill their invitation to Bentley and Penelope's wedding.
