Chapter 1

Ugh Cosima had been waiting for the bus for about half an hour now. It usually didn't take so long for it to arrive, why is it taking so long? she thought. That day hadn't been the best for her, she had woken up with the sun on her face (sure that isn't so bad but when you have a massive hangover from the night before it is) and she hadn't done any of her homework and she tried to do it when she was having breakfast but she didn't have enough time so her walk to school was just her feeling guilty she didn't do it. Then they had a biology surprise test but that was not much of a problem to Cosima, I mean tests were her thing and she always aced them no matter what but the P.E class that followed that test had indeed made her day worst. Even though she had some killer abs and a body that seemed like it belonged to a Greek goddess, her muscles weren't really feeling the whole "exercising thing ". Just so that her day got even better it was pouring! Cosima was about to start walking even though she was going to the other side of campus and it would take her much, much longer than it would by bus when it arrived. Finally she muttered. Cosima had been visiting a friend that lived in one of the dorms and she had checked out the university. This is where I'll be attending she had decided during the day.

She looked inside really quick before getting fully in, there still are a few seats left, the world is not completely against me. She went to seat in the back because she doesn't really want to get much attention, it seems like ever since she got her dreads everyone stares at her. What Cosima didn't understand though was that people didn't stare at her because of her dreads, they stared at her because she was gorgeous and the dreads were just something that made her even more attractive. Cosima noticed how some of the kids on the bus seemed like they had been studying for days in a row and how there was a group of girls gossiping and a group of two guys checking them out, what she failed to notice though was the beautiful blonde who sat on her left, until the bus took a turn and the girl literally sat on her lap, I'm sorry she said and quickly went back to her seat. This girl was wearing a beanie but her curls were way too powerful for her to be able to hide them completely so Cosima noticed a few falling out the sides. That's cutest thing I've ever seen Cosima would bet her life that it would be the cutest thing she would ever see in her lifetime. She had never seen this girl before and she had been on campus more than she had been anywhere else, Cosima would swear she practically knew everyone. The girl noticed Cosima's staring and Cosima immediately got self-conscious about it, I could have at least been a little discreet she thought. The girl simply smiled and that's when Cos noticed she was holding a chemistry textbook, this girl, this beautiful girl, in some alternative universe could have been from her school, her class, her best friend even and Cosima couldn't help but daydream about that. Cosima came back to reality when the girl seemed to be waiting for an answer.

- Sorry, what?- Cosima asked, kicking herself internally

You really are a lady killer aren't you Niehaus? The girl laughed. And Cosima would swear that's the best thing she has ever heard.

I said my name is Delphine, yours?

Is that a French accent Cosima heard? She was about to say something about it but decided to act against it not wanting to sound stupid by asking obvious questions. What would she say anyway "So you're French?" no that would just be dumb.

- Delphine. I'm Cosima, nice to meet you.

Delphine, it seemed like she's used to say that name all the time. A name so familiar in her mouth

Enchantée!- Delphine smiled at the smaller girl
