"Hey, Sunclaw?"
The tom-cat sat down.
"Yes, Frecklepaw?"
How could he have let this happen?
"Where's my mommy?"
His claws scraped the rocks as anger boiled inside him.
"No clue."
He had told her to go on the journey, to the old territories.
"Sunclaw?"
He felt horrible.
"What?"
He knew that Stonestar had died.
"Who will take care of me?"
Sunclaw froze- how had she figured out? He didn't want to answer the apprintace.
"Sunclaw."
The golden-pelted cat froze. When had his apprintace get that tone?
"Look at me."
The elder cat looked at the younger.
"Do you even care?"
He knew he had been caught in the act.
"You sent her there on purpose, didn't you?"
He let out a chilly laugh.
"So you caught on?"
The younger cat laughed, equally as coldly.
"I knew you wanted to be leader badly, but was murder the best option you could think of?"
The gold-pelted cat stood up, laughing.
"You've caught me."
The apprintace smiled.
"But now your in for it."
Sunclaw launched himself at Frecklepaw, who spat-
"You'r immorality will be you'r downfall."
Frecklepaw stayed sitting, growling as Sunclaw came closer, breezing through the air.
"Immorality."
Sunclaw's claws scraped Frecklepaw's neck, blood spewing forth from the wound. The word seemed to echo around him.
"IMMORALITY."
Frecklepaw fell dead as Sunclaw looked around, horrified.
Darkness suddenly clogged his vision as his throat constricted like a snake.
"IMMORALITY."
Sunclaw tried to run, but his legs almost seemed to become part of the ground. He tried to yell out, yet his neck wouldn't let him.
"YOU ARE IMMORAL."
The ground seemed to crumple beneath the tom-cat.
"COME, SUNCLAW. JOIN THE OTHER IMMORAL CATS."
Frecklepaw's body started to transform into a black, sludgy mess- coating the ground and Sunclaw's paw-pads.
Sunclaw lookeded down into the sludge- something was forming inside of it, not noticing the black sludge climb his body untill it consumed him into the depths of the darkness.
The sludge suddenly grew paws, growing closer to Sunclaw's form.
"JOIN US, SUNCLAW."
Sunclaw's horrified screech echoed as the souls from the dark forest dragged him down, into the depths of hell.
And Frecklepaw watched it all, smirking and laughing the entire time.
"IMMORALITY."
