The Switch

Prologue
When I woke up this morning, I didn't even realize it happened until I looked in the mirror. What I found strange was not the incident itself but who I was. Waking up with only boxers on and a white tank top. And my reflection? What used to be my long dirty blond hair was now black and short with three white stripes on the left side. And blue eyes? Now they were gold and lifeless with an intense stare that reflected back at me. I was short too, and thin with no curves. Although my butt sure does look nice…
"HELLOOOO!" Liz yelled as she walked into the room it seemed Death the Kid was in.
When Death the Kid saw Liz he screamed in the most girly high-pitched scream imaginable. In fact, it shattered the mirror next to him. It also woke up the sleepy looking Patty that walked in to see what was going on.
"Liz, Patty, what was that screa- OH MY SHINIGAMI! WHY IS MY BODY OVER THERE BUT I'M OVER HERE?" Patty exclaimed while staring and pointing at Death the Kid.
{10 minutes and more shouting later…}
"So…let me get this straight. I, Death the Kid am stuck in Patty's body, Patty is stuck in Liz's body and Liz is stuck in Death the Kid's body? How absurd…who would do this?"
"I think it's fun!" Liz yelled while flaring her arms up like a child.
"Ugh, Patty how is this FUN? I woke up in a guy's body today. A GUY'S BODY!" Death the Kid replied back, obviously in a bad mood.
"And what's so bad about being stuck in a body of the opposite sex?" Patty asked in all seriousness as she learned forward facing Death the Kid, head resting on hands.
"Are you KIDDING ME?" Kid screamed as he stood up.
"Hahaha! You said kid-ding! Get it! Because his name is Kid, but you meant it as kidding arou-" Liz started to say but was cut off by Death the Kid who pulled at his hair in frustration and groaning.
"And to think we have to go to school soon too…" He sighed as he got up.
Oh no…
"Err…Kid…" Death the kid said nervously while looking at Patty.
Quick Author's note: I know it's confusing when I refer to the characters as their physical state and not who's inside them. But just as a refresher,
Kid is in Patty
Liz in Kid
Patty is in Liz.
"What's wrong?...Oh." It didn't take a genius to realize why 'Liz' was nervous and squirming as she stood.
"WHAT DO I DOOOOO!" Death the Kid cried out while literally crying.
A blush spread across Patty's face. "Umm…"
"I CAN'T HOLD IT I'LL JUST GO!"
"JUST DON'T LOOK AT IT LIZ!"
"AS IF I WANTED TO, PERVERT!"
"…DO YOU NEED HELP?"
"YOU'RE SICK!"
"IT"S MY BODY LIZ…AND YOU'RE IN IT! I THINK I WOULD NOW HOW IT WORKS BETTER THAN YOU!"
"THAT SOUNDS CREEPY KID!"
{One pee break later…}
"Um…how did it go?" Patty asked while avoiding eye contact.
"Shut up." Kid replied.
"…You didn't look…did you?"
"NO I DID NOT! SHUT UP!"
Kid exhaled as Patty awkwardly cleared her throat…or should I say as KID cleared his throat.
"Um…Kid? Where's Patty? Where's my BODY?"
"Oh, she left for school."
"Oh…WAIT WHAT?" Kid yelled as he grabbed onto Patty's shirt, gripping onto her.
"DID YOU SEE WHAT SHE, WHAT I, WAS WEARING? DID SHE EVEN PUT MAKEUP ON? MY NAILS WEREN'T EVEN DONE EITHER!"
"Ah, Liz, LIZ! YOU'RE HURTING ME! STOP!"
"Oh…sorry."
Oh yeah I'm a guy…and a Shinigami. I'm, well, I'm strong.
Well since Patty ran off to school, in Liz's body, it was only natural that Kid and Liz would get ready as well.
Once Liz finally put on the suit Kid always wears, she realized wearing it made her HOT. How could anybody stand this? What is the suit even MADE of? She ended up putting on a sweatshirt and skinny jeans with sneakers. Who knew Death the Kid even owned this type of clothing?
Meanwhile Kid was trying to get dressed. As Patty. Should he put on her usual cropped turtleneck and shorts? It feels weird wearing such a thing though...
Well off to school! Who knows what the three may experience in their new bodies!
