Harry Potter and the Surprising Visitor
All was going normally at #4 Privet Drive. Dudley was still so fat that when he fell hard on the floor the house shook. Aunt Petunia was listening in on the story about the neighbor's daughter had gone over her cell phone minutes. Uncle Vernon was watching the news. And of coarse Harry Potter was thinking over his life a little over dramatically. In about a month he would be going to Hogwarts School for the 6th year in a row. His thoughts about Voldemort, the ministry, Voldemort, Ron and Hermione, and Voldemort were disrupted by a snap and him tripping over someone.
After picking himself and the person he tripped over he saw it was none other then Luna Lovegood, an alright, yet strange girl. "Hello Harry." She simply said in her mystifying voice "Lovely weather we've been having isn't it". "Yes it – wait Luna, what are you doing here?" said Harry confused. "I don't actually know, I was side-apperating with my dad and I somehow ended up here." She said this all calmly like nothing about being lost or miraculously ending up falling on your friend really mattered. "Well…. maybe you can stay at my house" he said almost regretting it. "That sounds lovely" said the Dursley's soon to be guest
"Now listen Luna, my aunt and uncle shouldn't know you're here or they will throw a fit" whispered Harry as they came into the house. "I agree, you said they act like a couple of lark-larks" she said walking upstairs. "Uh…. right," said Harry. Whatever the heck a lark-lark is, he thought as they entered his room. "BOY!" cried Uncle Vernon. "Oh dear," said Harry "Um Luna, make your self conferrable while I'm downstairs and if you hear any footsteps, hide," said Harry, and he bolted downstairs.
"YOU'RE LATE!" cried Uncle Vernon, "It's your turn to make dinner"! Wow, that's funny, it's always my turn to make dinner thought Harry as he headed into the kitchen. He wasn't in there for five minutes when Dudley was calling Uncle Vernon upstairs. Another minute passed when he heard the usual "BOY" from Uncle Vernon summoning him. Harry broke in cold sweat, Dudley found her he thought as he headed downstairs to face his doom. He went up not to find them in his room, but outside the bathroom. The door was locked, the lights were on, and water was running: Luna was taking a shower.
"You have five seconds to tell us who is in there!" yelled Uncle Vernon. "Maybe Aunt Petunia" "Don't be stupid, she's out shopping"! Without warning he charged at the door, breaking it open. Harry looked inside; the water was running in the shower but there was no Luna. "Stupid house, always malfunctioning," said Uncle Vernon turning off the water. Tired and frustrated he said to Harry "GET BACK TO WORK!" and walked downstairs.
Just as Harry heard Vernon sit down Luna popped out of the hamper. "I'm sorry Harry, I thought nobody would notice". Harry was about to respond, but a loud snap and a scream was heard downstairs. Harry and Luna rushed downstairs in time to see Uncle Vernon covering his face behind a blond man wearing blue wizard's robes. "Daddy!" exclaimed Luna as she ran up to him. "I have been looking everywhere for you, time to go," he looked up at Harry. "Thank You for looking after Luna," he said. "Anytime," said a stunned Harry. Then Luna and her father disapperated. Neither Harry nor Uncle Vernon said anything; they just let out an exasperated sigh then fell on the couch.
