Those ears you see from a mile away
Perfect twins; circular in shape
Keeping a look out
For any noise
A scream, a shout; to annoy
To warn, to see;
To save me

There is something in those big eyes
Compassion, disappointment, surprise
Those eyebrows they rise
When happiness meets the eye
Those eyebrows that fall
When something goes awry

That nose, a black dot
Sticking out
I want to touch that spot
Pressing to see what happiness
is about

That smile, a grin
From ear to ear
A smile you don't see
But yet you hear

A familiar face
Your saving grace
Following you from
place to place
I wait at the end
For your saving embrace
That always mends.
