Everlasting
Alone he strolled
In night of cold
Amongst the woodland wondering
A weight unkind
Upon his mind
Revelations left him pondering
Hurt took its toll
Upon his soul
Left alone and sorrowing
A sigh of stars
Pierced his heart
The sound, he was left following
There stood a sight
Of pure delight
Her voice like rain fall flowing
They're eyes did meet
Hearts skipped beats
His soul now healed and glowing
In Arwen's eyes
He saw night skies
Of dazzling starlight shinning.
Far off, the sound
Above the ground
The night birds songs were chiming
Long they walked
Long they talked
In woodland night enchanting
Hearts were gave
Promises made
Delaying their fated parting
To her he did cleave
Then he took his leave
To join men marching, persisting
Now left alone
Her heartache had grown
The sea, she was desperately resisting
Her face now cold
Her soul grown old
Lost, was sound of her delighting
Through snow and rain
She watched him gain
Skills and strengths of fighting
Years had passed
Then at last
Reunited were lovers, binding
Tokens were gave
Words exchanged
Hearts forever entwining
Disaster struck
She wished him luck
The Evenstar shining, shimmering
Without rest
He fulfilled his quest
The ring no longer glimmering
He took his place
As head of his race
A King he was, left distressing
Then there she came
Her face the same
Along with Elrond's blessing
Long they reigned
The Kingdom saved
An heir she bore him smiling
Joy did spread
They wet the head
Of the Prince who smiled, beguiling
As time went on
Their friends long gone
Finally came their passing
Long since now
They took their vows
Their love always everlasting
The End
