It all ended. Sam Winchester's soul was gone and there was no way out of this. Dean was left alone. Unprotected, with a huge hole in his chest. He felt like a lost soul, he wanted to search for a crossroad demon, to ease the pain. Sam's last wish was, that he couldn't be brought back. The trials were too hard. He wanted to sleep forever and Death made that wish for him. The older brother mourned with tears and alcohol. But there was someone else with him. Castiel took a flower with him to Sam's grave.
- I miss him so much, Cas – hugged Dean the angel softly.
- He lived so many pains. Maybe, it was the best way for him – answered Castiel.
- This not supposed to be happen. I was in Hell for him. I did for him, only him. My brother was the most important thing in my life. And now he's gone… my life became meaningless – Winchester kissed the angel's neck while crying.
- Think about your brother, Dean – the angel petted Dean's hair. – Sam watches you from the sky. I guarantee, that you will see each other, this was not a goodbye. Just a farewell to this cruel world – the couple kissed each other gently.
- Dean, no – Castiel grabbed the knife out of the Winchester's hand.
- I must see him again, Cas. I can't handle the pain.
- I see, that you are sad and upset. But I'm here for you. Okay?
- I want to die! – cried the Winchester boy. – Without Sam, my life is a shit.
- I'm sorry. Let me bring a piece of your pain. We walk this way, but together. I promise.
- You can't handle it – whispered Dean.
- Of course, I can. I love you – kissed Castiel. – I won't let you down. I swear.
He found him in the bathroom, everything was covered with blood. A knife in his hand. The eyes were empty. He went after his baby brother. Castiel fell. Again. He thought about Dean, he must be happy now with Sam in Heaven, forever. They become one again. Castiel lived in the human's world so long, that he felt a single man's tear going down his face. He fell. Again. And forever.
He kept digging and digging. The pit was deep enough now. He wanted to bury Dean by himself, without no angel powers. He was exhausted. He lifted the body and took it int he pit gently. He kissed Dea non his forehead one last time, said a prayer for his soul. And then he cried. The light of the stars were amazing, Castiel thought, that the Winchesters would love it, too. But they are gone. Castiel fell. Again. And forever.
