Just an idea I had to get out of my head. I know it's not much and it's not going to be more than this, but I had to write it down. Hope you enjoy it. RxR por favor:)
Lily sat on the soft armchair near her front door. Her friends and the Marauders had recently left and she felt lonely. Sirius, Remus, Abby, and Joan had left a few minutes before James left after helping her clean up a bit. After he had left she tucked herself into the armchair and hugged a pillow.
A knock resounded through the entry hall and startled Lily. Standing slowly she opened the door to find James standing outside looking a bit bashful and scuffing his foot on the floor.
"Did you forget something Potter?" Lily asked softly as they stood staring at each other.
"Actually, I did forget something." James whispered and gazed into Lily's eyes. They leaned in slowly and with a shock of passion and forbidden love their lips met. Lily's eyelids fluttered open and gazed into his eyes.
"I love you James. I've loved you for so long, but have denied my love for you because I was afraid." James lifted a hand softly to her face and stroked her cheek.
"I love you Lily and nothing will ever change that." James kissed her softly once more and disappeared into the night. Lily sighed and locked the door. Sitting down in her chair Lily clutched the pillow to her chest.
Lifting her head from the back of the chair Lily looked around. The pillow had fallen to the floor and the sun was shining in through the window. Lily stood and stretched, then sat back down again.
"Was it all just a wonderful dream?" Lily spoke softly to herself unshed tears in her eyes. Opening the front door to get the newspaper a folded green paper fluttered to the ground. Lily picked it up and began to read:
Lily,
I hope you don't hate me for what I have done last night. I was not lying when I said I love you.
James
Lily clutched the note to her chest and sighed, a glowing smile lighted her countanence as she stood in the morning sun.
