A/N: This is a little drabble I made for one of my graphics at tumblr (you can find me as missjessicapond). Set on season six.
"Im never gonna see you again" Sarah said as the Doctor walked into the TARDIS.
The Doctor stared at her knowing the answer to that question, he was going to die soon and she knew that. They stared, a flash of pain and sadness on the Doctor's face as Sarah tried not to cry she avoided his sight.
Finally the Doctor broke the silence "Sarah, you've been wonderful" he said with sadness in his eyes "but you have people that care about you and you will never be alone again, you know that" he smiled knowing that this was true, she had friends, she had Chuck, she had a family. "You don't have to worry about me"
When the Doctor first met her she was young and hard as a rock, she was so strong but he knew that she was lonely. He remembered how much she resisted to open up to him but at the end she did, they always did. He would never forget Sarah Walker.
She smiled barely containing the tears "take care of yourself, Doctor" her voice almost cracking at the end of that sentence.
Two times the Doctor appeared on her life, but she had changed so much since the first time yet she remembered him like it was yesterday when he saved her from almost dying when a mission went horribly wrong, of course she later found out it went wrong because she was fighting an alien organization.
The Doctor smiled again and entered the TARDIS. Sarah couldn't stand to watch him and the TARDIS dissappear so she turned back as soon as the door was closed and walked away. She heard the noise of the TARDIS a noise that she would never forget and just a few steps ahead she knew he was gone and she wished that someone would save him and she could see him again some day.
