"The Daughter of Poseidon
My name is Kaia Klenoth. First of all, there are many people like me, but many who are not. Demigods. But it is rare for a child of "The Big Three" to come along, and that is pretty much what happened. I am the daughter of Poseidon, a very dramatic title for my taste, but it's true. I was claimed only a few hours ago, and now I am sitting on a porch, trying not to scream at the camp director, Dionysus.
"Gods, another child on Poseidon. Already had enough of Phillip..." he sighed. "Ah, well, welcome to Camp Half-Blood. I'm not going to bother to show you the orientation video... so Chiron, will you take Katie to the Posedion cabin?" he didn't sound like he was someone to correct, so I decided that Katie was close enough. The guy-Chiron?-rose out of his wheelchair, and something even more head-spinning happened. The man was now what I figured was a centaur, man from the waste up, and a white stallion from there to his feet-erm, hooves.
He showed me around, I got caught in a net, a blonde haired girl from the Athena cabin had stopped poring over her book to stare at me, and, finally, we made it to the Poseidon cabin. It was low, but wide, and looked as though it were made entirely out of seashells.
"Welcome to your new home. I'll let you go from here... dinner's in an hour." then the horse-guy clopped away. He seemed a bit hesitant, and I could feel people staring at me as I stood outside the cabin. So I took a deep breath, gulped, and opened the door.
The cabin was beautiful to say the least. There were four bunks, and a salt water fountain. Fish like things hung from the ceiling, looking as though they were swimming through the air. To top it off, there was a tall boy with one eye in a pink apron staring at me.
"Uhm, hi. My name is Kaia... and I think that your my half-brother." I said awkwardly. The guy's face lit up, and he ran toward me, nearly crushing me in a hug.
"My name is Tyson. You my sister!" Tyson greeted, sounding as though this were the most amazing moment of my life. I laughed nervously and nodded.
"Chiron told me that we have another brother. Phillip?" I asked. Tyson looked mystified.
"Phillip? I don't know Phillip. But Percy is climbing the big wall that pours lava. If you like, I will take you there!" Tyson shouted. 'Big wall that pours lava?' I asked, wondering if this was all just a really messed up dream. Not trusting my voice, I nodded and follwed Tyson back outside, and to the 'big wall that pours lava'. I felt dizzy and confused at this point. I was at lunch when my classmate, Jack, told me that he had to 'have a talk with me'. Now, when someone says something like that I either feel very nervous, or just plain creeped out. But either way, I know not to ignore people-it really just makes them annoy you more. So I followed him outside, and he told me everything. Now, you may be wondering when I got claimed. To tell you the truth, it was when we were outside of the cafeteria and into the parking lot when a huge, blue trident appeared over my head. Jack gasped, and got all excited talking all about how he would be bringing back a child of "The Big Three" to Camp Half-Blood. So I rode a bus, with Jack, who ended up being a saytr, to a camp I would have never thought could've exsisted yesterday, and best yet, I was a daughter of Posedion. All in one day- a Monday I might mention, the last monday of the school year,- I learned that Greek Mythololy was true, that I was a half-blood, and that I have to brothers- on of which is half-cyclops. Yep, I'm going insane.
