I have seen many disturbing things. I have had my fair share of near death experiences with encounters with monsters. But nothing compares to what just happened to Annabeth.

Ever since Percy and Annabeth came back on the ship, the Argo II's atmosphere changed. Their constant depression and trauma made everyone afraid to do a lot of things out of fear that it may trigger them into a panic attack.

Every shred of the old Percy and Annabeth was gone. They always had a vacant look in their eyes and often burst into tears at random times. Percy would usually cause the waves to be astronomically huge, nearly tipping the boat over, when he had flashbacks.

Annabeth had a habit of taking a knife and cut thin strokes into her finger when no one was looking. If someone accidentally hit a sensitive spot with Percy, he would jump into the water to keep himself from having a breakdown.

Leo installed heavy metal sound planks around the rooms of our cabins to keep Percy and Annabeth's loud screams from waking us up.

Today we were in the mess hall having breakfast having a conversation about the new Riverdale episode when Annabeth suddenly dropped a plate on the floor, breaking it into a million tiny pieces. She let out a piercing scream. Her eyes were suddenly completely white, with no other color shown. She dropped to the floor and cried out in agony as she had spasms on the floor.

Everyone was on their feet and in the blink of the eye Percy held her hand and rubbed her back silent tears streaming down his face.

Everyone was at her side kneeling besides her.

Suddenly Annabeth's horrifying screams stopped and she quickly bolted herself upright.

"Percy!" She screamed so loudly, Hazel covered her ears.

"I'm right here!" He shouts.

"Why did you leave me? Why did you go?! COME BACK!" She sobs.

Percy pulls her into his arms.

"It's okay. It'll be over soon!"

"Come back Percy!" she continues to scream.

I didn't understand. Percy was right there.

"What's happening, Percy?" Frank finally got the courage to say.

Before Percy can answer Annabeth finally calms down and the color returns to her eyes.

"I'm done with this life. Come with me,"

"Yes," Percy says.
