Yes, another poem. Sorry, but all my stories are considerably bad right now. So I'll keep submitting poetry until I get a good story going again. Anyway, here's a Hellsing one, because I can. I'm trying to get it to submit with the stanzas intact, so I apoligize if there's lots of weird html tags on this right now. If they work, I'll be happy. If they don't, I'll fix them as quickly as possible.

It's finally working! I know I've resubmitted this document like, ten times, and I'm sorry, but my stanzas are finally working! So enjoy the poem, finally looking like it's meant to look.

Hellsing belongs to Kohta Hirano. Not me! The poetry's mine though. Lost me a few marks in English because the "rhythm wasn't consistent", but I'm hoping you people don't care too much about that. Anyway.

-------

You ask me why I love to fight
Basking in my undead might
Full with the power of the night
Because it sets my heart on fire

You ask me why I drink with zeal
Never bothering to conceal
The scent of blood after every meal
Because it sets my heart on fire

Now I ask you why you let me taint
Your pure blood fit for any saint
And you reply, with no restraint
"Because you set my heart on fire"

"The power of night is fraught with lies
The scent of blood a vague disguise
Your soul shines forever in my eyes
An eternity of fire"

So when the moon is bright and impure
Your love shall be my one true cure
For though fresh blood will forever lure
You set my heart on fire

Makes you want to leave a review, right? Haha, maybe not. But you could humour me anyway. After all, I redid this over and over again, just to get the stanzas right. That deserves some credit, hmm?
