Dads return
I walk up to the address that Lucian gave me; I see that it's just a little apartment. When I knock on the door I hear someone walking to answer it, a blonde boy who looks to be about ten answers the door. When he sees me a smile spreads across his face he says "you can come in" he goes to the couch where a little red head is sleeping him shakes her awake and says "clary dad's home!" I hear a woman's voice say "Jonathan who was at the door" before he answers I say "Jocelyn it's me" when she comes around the corner and sees me she runs towards me and says "you're finally back!" I've just returned from serving my mandatory three years in the idrisian army. Boring work I couldn't reach my family in contact other than letters and those took too much time to write. I say to clary who is only eight "how are you" she responds by saying "I made new friends at school!" I know who she's talking about because her school is the shadow hunter institute in town. I say "do you mean the lightwoods and herondales" she shakes her head and says "izzy and Alec are gonna have a baby brother soon" she seems happy. Jonathan says to me "last week Hodge taught Alec and me Romanian and we also got a new trainer its !" I laugh because I don't know how much time hodge spent trying to teach Romanian to Jonathan who has slight ADHD. It's nice to be home when I went to serve in the army we were living in the institute I'm happy we found a home outside of it. The next day I drive clary and Jonathan to school early a smaller version of maryse lightwood who I assume is Isabelle lightwood. When the three of us step inside clary and Jonathan are greeted by their friends and then I see maryse and Lucian talking so I walk over to them. Once everyone is done talking I have found out that amatis and Stephen are having another son I bet young jace is happy. I go into the training room there were many rooms like this when I was in idris but this one brings back specific memories like when I brought Jonathan here the first time. I see that up on the higher beam above by head clary is attempting to do cartwheels and her brother is chiding her for it. Their trainer Sam Blackwell comes up behind me and say "hey how was your three years" I just say "extremely boring" he responds "well you could come help with the kids teaching it's fun" I laugh and say "maybe Sam". By the end of their four hour school day all the kids are pooped all of them except jace who is always full of energy even though like Isabelle and clary he is only eight he already is taking sword training with Alec and Jonathan.
