I don't own SPN or any of its stars. I do own Evelyn, Leo, and the Idea. Reviews are welcome and appreciated!
Prologue:
I looked down at the child I held in my arms. I looked up at Castiel, and saw his sad gaze. "You have to go, you have to protect him." I looked up at his sharp blue eyes and gave a watery smile. I silently nodded, I fell into his embrace one last time. He held me tight against his chest, protecting our child between us. Leo had his fathers dark black hair, and my sharp green eyes. He was barely two months old. "I love you." I choked out around the lump in my throat. Castiel kissed the top of my head. "As do I, Angel."
I felt the white light engulf me, throwing me back into the past. I stumbled, and fell through a door, into what looked like a hotel room. Two men sat in the room, one sat on a queen size bed cleaning guns, while the other sat at the table typing at a laptop. They both stood at my entrance, guns pointed in my direction. I know what I looked like to them.
A woman with dark brown hair, gem green eyes, a slight build, a baby, and tears in her eyes? Crazy. "Who are you?" The shorter one demanded, pointing a gun in my direction. I resettled Leo against my shoulder, patting his back. I looked warily at both men. I knew who these men were. Sam and Dean Winchester. I happened to be the daughter of Cassie, one of Dean's old lovers that never told Dean about me. So, he was about thirty something now, and I am twenty, holding his grandchild. "My name is Evelyn, this is Leo."
I whispered, patting Leo's back. "Yeah, but how did you get into our hotel room from our closet door?" Sam demanded. "Ever heard of time traveling?"
~That Angel's Baby~
Eventually, they finally let me sit down, after their three usual questions. Holy water, borax, then the cut with sliver knife. I sat patiently through each, drinking the holy water without complaint, borax splashed on my hand, and my forearm cut. I passed. Dean sat down across from me, while Sam took the seat on my right. I bounced Leo on my knee, trying to put him to sleep. "What year is this?" I asked. When Castiel had sent me into the past, he hadn't said exactly what year he was sending me to. "2011." Dean said, eyeing me.
The past me would be about six years old. "What year are you from?" Sam asked, intrigued. "I'm from the year of 2030." I put Leo against my shoulder as I felt him slowly falling to sleep. "Who's baby?" Dean asked rather bluntly. "He's mine." I smiled as I stood up and walked him over to the bed closest to the table and layed him down in the middle. I made sure his blanket I brought was just so, then walked back over to the table.
"So, why did you travel from your time to ours?" Sam asked, studying me. I thought back to the angels that attacked Castiel and I, demanding that we hand over Leo. Because Leo was the first Nephilim since the early 2000's. Cas had insisted he couldn't come back with us, he was going to protect us by staying in the future. "We were in trouble, Leo and I. An angel sent us back to the past." I said as I played with bracelet on my left wrist.
Dean gave Sam a knowing look, and I knew then that they knew what angel I was talking about. "So, why did Castiel send you back to us? He's only ever did that with us." Dean sounded slightly jealous. "Castiel sent us back to protect us." I said simply. "Why would an angel, who might I add could be-" I cut him off. "Why would Castiel protect us?" I demanded, rage burning in my eyes. "Because, I happen to be the mother of his child." I said angrily, jerking my thumb towards Leo.
