Disclaimer: I don't own Harvest Moon DS Cute, sadly. D: I'd be very happy if I did, cause then I'd be rich!

ERR: Okay, so, this story pretty much sucks. I wrote it during Advisory class. (If you don't know what it is, ask a knowledgeable person.) I finished it over a course of two days. That's an accomplishment for me.

I walked down the mountain path, as I do every clear evening. Tonight seemed different from previous nights. The lovely maiden Jill hasn't greeted me with delicious curry or her sweet citrus aroma.

As I continued my stroll, I spotted something that froze my heart and then shattered it into a million shards.

Jill...She's crying...

Several emotions flooded through my cold veins. Anger, sadness, guilt...wait...guilt? Why would I feel guilty?

I walked up to Jill and sat next to her, my legs dangling off the edge of the bridge.

"What has you vexed, Jill?" I inquired.

"I-I...love you." She whispered. "A-and I want to b-be with you..." Her face fell into her hands again and I felt a surge of pain rush through my body like I'd never experienced before.

She was crying because of me...it was all my fault she was hurting...

"What's stopping you?" I asked, my throat suddenly becoming dry.

"I-I...I've only found Forty-Six Harvest Sprites!" She wept.

"........." Harvest Sprites? What on Earth are Harvest Sprites?

So, yeah. It wasn't very good, but I figured I'd post it up anyways since I haven't posted anything in a couple months. Your opinion might be different from mine, though, so, tell me what you thought. Oh, and if you didn't figure it out, the whole story was in Skye's point-of-view.

I dunno about y'all, but that really made me want to cry. But now I've found 56 Sprites and the suspense is KILLING ME! DDDDDDD: Oh well, enough of that.
