Hiya! shadowmistx98 here!
So, another RWBY fanfic for me.. I have written OzGlyn and RenxBlake in the past... As you can see, there's only a few fanfics about BlackSun or SunXBlake. So as I said in dA, expect me to be one of the people to fill the gaps ^^
Disclaimer: I do not own RWBY.
Escorted by the police to Beacon, the gang went back.
"Man, that was so exhausting... I can't wait to go to my sweet sweeeet bed!" Yang stretched her arms out as they walked towards the facade of Beacon.
"I couldn't agree more," Weiss placed her hands on her hips.
They stopped in front of the statue of the Beowolf.
"Well, the day's done. Our mission is accomplished!" Ruby gleefully said.
Weiss then cleared her throat. They looked at her as she pointed towards Sun who was still with them.
"Oh, um, you guys go ahead. I'll just talk to Sun right here," Blake said.
"Sun?" Yang raised an eyebrow, not knowing the faunus' name.
Ruby elbowed her sister. Then, Yang got it.
"Oh! Yeah, sure! We'll be going ahead now then!" Yang smiled and the three walked away from them.
Blake faced Sun.
"So, what's up?" Sun asked.
"Sun, I... I just wanted to thank you for all the things you've done," Blake started. "It really means a lot."
Sun, with a lopsided smile, answered. "It's no problem. I was happy to help."
Blake sighed and smiled sadly. She looked away from Sun's gaze.
"Hm?" Sun raised an eyebrow.
"So, I guess you'll travel again, huh? Stow-away in a boat again, perhaps?" Blake silently asked.
"Me? Pssh, nah!" Sun waved his hand as he answered, catching Blake in surprise. "I'll probably stay here much longer."
"W-what?" Blake asked, doubtful of what she just heard.
Sun snickered. "I'll be staying here in Vale."
Blake looked at him, mouth slightly open. Then, she let out a small smile.
"That's great, I guess."
Sun analyzed her face. "Why? You're gonna miss me if I left, huh?"
Blake looked at him and blushed slightly. "W-what? I-I didn't say anything like that!"
Sun chuckled. "Well, to be honest, I don't like staying in one place, but..."
Sun locked his eyes onto Blake's, which made her nervous.
"I think I found a reason why I'd like to stay in this one."
Blake's heart skipped a beat. She didn't know what to say.
Sun scratched his head and looked away.
"Well, it's a bit late," Sun said. "You're teammates might be looking for you now."
Blake nodded. "Yeah."
"Thanks again," she said.
Just as she was about to turn around, Sun held her shoulder and gently kissed her on the cheek.
Blake froze in her place, shocked with what just happened.
"Well, good night!" Sun walked backwards and ran as he turned around.
Blake looked at him as he disappeared from her sight.
"Y-yeah... Good night..." Blake's cheeks turned red as she walked her way to the dormitory.
