Stay With Me
A shadow appeared during a dark night, moving swiftly out of eyes, before disappearing completely into the night. It appeared again next to an abandoned building to meet pair of eyes waiting for him.
-"Your next assignment. Boss says you must be finished till the next month" he handed him the black case and left unnoticeably.
It didn't take long for Will to leave that spot. Once he arrived at his apartment he tossed the case on his bed and walked off to take a long shower.
Once he was out of the shower, he poured himself a glass of whiskey with ice and sat down to review his next assignment. He opened the case easily and started reading over it until his eyes caught his next victim's picture.
"A young woman?!" he questioned himself. His cold eyes looked at the picture once more before drifting off to other papers. He wouldn't be swayed easily just because she was a woman. No, he was a professional after all. But why did they want her dead?
His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of his cell phone.
-"Hello?"
-"I believe you're already familiar with your next assignment?!"
-"Yes, sir."
-"It will be an easy assignment for a professional like you, except…"
-"Except what?" His brows furrowed.
-"Except that now she is guarded closely. We had some people before you, but they failed. It's a delicate job, I'm sure you know. Get close to the family, but don't take long. Sooner, the better."
-"And the father?" he asked coldly.
-"Don't worry about that. He is hiding somewhere now, but we have people after him. Complete you job and you may take a break."
-"Understood." He hung up and returned back to his seat to look at the picture again.
