NinetyNine Pink Balloons

Jeremy and Aelita buy a pack of balloons, and release them into the sky, not aware of the chain events that they have set off. Based on the song Ninetynine Red Balloons by Nena. Not a songfic.

Chapter One

"Jeremy!" Aelita pressed her hands against the store window. Jeromy stopped walking and looked back at his friend. She smiled at the little toy shop. "Lets go in!" She walked over to Jeremy, who had just past the door, and pulled him in, letting go as soon as they walked in, and ran off.

After a bit, she returned with only one small package, frowning. "Everything's so expensive." She sighed. "These were on sale." She showed him the bag. "I like them." They were only ten euros for the package of ninety-nine pink balloons. Jeremy smiled and bought it.

Next Morning

Jeremy opened the door to his dorm, to glare at the person who woke him up at 5:30 a.m. "Jeremy, I can't sleep." Aelita said to her boyfriend. Jeromy smiled, and opened up the bag.

As they released the helium filled balloons, Aelita stared up at the sky in wonder. "Its beautiful," She whispered. After the last of the balloons disappeared, they returned to their dorms, and fell asleep until noon Sunday.
